From this year, we are starting with the transects (short paths along which the butterflies are being counted). Anyone can join, and the only thing that one should do is to count all the butterflies during a regular walk. It is better to do the transects more often and with more people involved! In a few years we hope to get data about changes in butterfly numbers and the causes of this changes.

An official guideline for monitoring of butterflies at European level is available on the Butterfly Conservation Europe web site, or here in Serbian cyrilic and latin alphabet. We also hope to create a new online software in cooperation with BCE EIG and to meke data inputs much more easier.
