Kosmaj was on April 9 and 10 the venue of &#8220;The first butterfly watching weekend&#8221; in Serbia.<\/p>\n<p>It was attended by 25 participants and 5 coordinators from our team (Bo\u017eenka Hric, Bojana Nada\u017edin, Milan \u0110uri\u0107, Filip Vukajlovi\u0107 and Ivan Tot).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2923\" src=\"https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20220409_105932-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20220409_105932-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20220409_105932-250x188.jpg 250w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20220409_105932-240x180.jpg 240w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20220409_105932.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Daytime activities included visiting various terrains and gathering data on butterflies, but also other insects. Altogether, 15 different butterfly and around 30 moth species were recorded, and more than 200 georeferenced data were gathered.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2926\" src=\"https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278136370_1403717080058898_9148829126562321095_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278136370_1403717080058898_9148829126562321095_n-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278136370_1403717080058898_9148829126562321095_n-250x188.jpg 250w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278136370_1403717080058898_9148829126562321095_n-240x180.jpg 240w, https:\/\/habiprot.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278136370_1403717080058898_9148829126562321095_n.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After field activities, there were several short lectures: about our NGO, about NGO <a href=\"https:\/\/arcus.org.rs\/srb\/\">Arcus<\/a> from Ba\u010dka Topola, presentation on activities of NGO <a href=\"https:\/\/orca.rs\/orca-akademija-4\/\">ORCA<\/a> and invitiation to their Academy. Mirko \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107 from IBISS as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opasuljise.rs\/\">project<\/a> leader thanked for large number of collected specimens and presented preliminary results. After that was arranged the workshop for recognizing butterflies, primarily those found during the day.
